Any email accounts you have will work with Velocity Broadband as long as you continue to keep them active through their provider.

You can also set up email to use the Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express Program.

Getting Set Up is Easy!

  • Start up Outlook program
  • From top menu, select Tools > Accounts
  • Select Mail tab on screen
  • Enter the name you want to appear as From>Click Next
  • Enter your email address > i.e: youremail@vbbi.us > Next

Enter the following info:

  • Incoming Mail is a POP3 server: pop.emailsrvr.com
  • Outgoing Mail is a SMTP server: smtp.emailsrvr.com

Click Next to enter the following info:

  • Account name: (your full email address)
  • Password: your webmail password.
  • Check remember password.

OutGoing Mail server does require authentication> check that box

Click Advanced Settings Tab and look down to Delivery options.

  • Check the box that says leave a copy on server.
  • Check the next box and set up how many days to keep email.
  • Check the next box to delete from webmail server when you delete from the deleted items folder in your Outlook Program.
